Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her assistance and determination to increasing South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) providers throughout an engagement while using the agency's senior professionals at a strategic setting up session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled within the 2024 matric examinations.
With the 724 156 full-time learners who registered with the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing 81% of your registered pupils from the education and learning sector.
These learners reached a commendable pass rate of 86%.
