Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers for the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency mentioned it is alarmed concerning the superior amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office focused on service the area on a daily basis. The provider point developed for intervention ordeals a higher influx of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, sassa SASSA will mobilise extra sources to permit the servicing of all buyers and maximize website usage of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
